Here are outputs with xhci_hcd dynamic_debug on Ubuntu 14.04 kernel, 3.12.0-7-generic:

dmesg_usb2_1: the successful first round of reaction (probably power sensing)
dmesg_usb2_2: the failed enumeration from the first messages (Babble claimed)
dmesg_usb2_3: the disconnection messages
