NFS lowerdir support in mainline kernel anytime soon?

Are there plans for NFS lowerdir in mainline kernel?


mount -t overlay overlay -olowerdir=/var.ro,upperdir=/tmp/.var.upperdir,workdir=/tmp/.var.workdir /tmp/.var.overlay

overlayfs: filesystem on '/var.ro' not supported
