The following commit has been merged into the x86/boot branch of tip: Commit-ID: 17608373cf907afe97654998663cc2ab8070e90b Gitweb: https://git.kernel.org/tip/17608373cf907afe97654998663cc2ab8070e90b Author: Ingo Molnar <mingo@xxxxxxxxxx> AuthorDate: Sun, 24 Mar 2024 04:46:10 +01:00 Committer: Ingo Molnar <mingo@xxxxxxxxxx> CommitterDate: Sun, 24 Mar 2024 05:01:35 +01:00 x86/build: Clean up arch/x86/tools/relocs.c a bit So: - Follow Documentation/CodingStyle for: - curly braces - variable definitions - return statements - etc. - Fix unnecessary linebreaks - Don't split user-visible error strings over multiple lines ... - It's fine to use vertical alignment to make code more readable, but it should be internally consistent for definitions visible on a single page ... - There's 40+ die() statements that are basically asserts and never trigger. Make them single-line, to move them out of sight as much as possible.
