The following commit has been merged into the x86/core branch of tip: Commit-ID: db4a4086a223bd5cbfa5a66701c493124d808d55 Gitweb: https://git.kernel.org/tip/db4a4086a223bd5cbfa5a66701c493124d808d55 Author: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> AuthorDate: Mon, 14 Aug 2023 10:18:45 +02:00 Committer: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> CommitterDate: Tue, 10 Oct 2023 14:38:19 +02:00 x86/apic: Use u32 for wakeup_secondary_cpu[_64]() APIC IDs are used with random data types u16, u32, int, unsigned int, unsigned long. Make it all consistently use u32 because that reflects the hardware register width.
