Instead of GK20A_PMU_UCODE_SIZE_MAX, can't you use desc->app_size to
allocate the exact amount of memory you need?

I don't think your worker will be happy if it is still running after
you deleted the instance block. :/

That's typically the kind of stuff you want to do in your fini()
function, not the destructor. The difference between ctor/dtor and
init/fini can be roughly summarized as follows:

- ctor/dtor: allocate/free resources used by device
- init/fini: start/stop the device.

Between ctor/init and fini/dtor, the device is in a state where it is
ready-to-run, but not active. So all the stuff that you are doing
below should be moved to fini.

What need do you have to rename this variable? It inflates the size of
the patch without any benefit.

There is actually some reformatting/renaming I would like to do to
this patch. Therefore I will send the next version. Please take it as
a basis for your future work.

The version I will send also fixes the init/fini sequence, so from now
on I'd suggest that you continue working on secure boot since this
patch should be mostly ok (but let's see what the others have to say
:)) minus a few integration issues.
