Looks good, thanks! But I can't apply the patches cleanly. Can you
resend clean patches?

I am able to apply the patches cleanly in my git repo, even to 1.0.21.
They all pass checkpatch.pl (complains only on lines greater than 80 chars).

I don't see what was the problem. Could you send me the error messages or
explain what is wrong. It is not the first time you write that my patches
don't apply cleanly, but i never had a chance to figure out why.

I use the plain "patch" utility, perhaps something in the mail gets wrong?
