0.9.9.tgt ISCSI over 10G: performance issues to Windoh's initiator

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Running TGTD over 10G.

Benchmarking with a Linux initiator, 1MB blocks, for example, gets
800MB/s reads, 600MB/s writes.

Same target w/ a W2008S SP2 initiator (actually, the same machine as
the Linux case, dual booted to its dark side), gets 800MB/s on the
writes, but only a little better than 100MB/s on the reads.

Both cases are benchmarking the physical device, no file system or RAID.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris
