It also happens even with MaxRecvDSL at 8192, and the original getaddrinfo
error that I reported turns out to be a port number with a stray \020\040
due to corruption on the end of it:

  iscsiadm: Cannot resolve host 83.222.226.67, port 3260^P . getaddrinfo error: [Servname not supported for ai_socktype]
