Hi Willem, Yes, "which python2" tells me /usr/bin/python2 also, but changing python to python2 on sam's first line solves the first problem I found, but reveals another, it needs the alsaaudio module, and what I found in Arch's AUR didn't satisfy it. Later, I will look again at the various alsaaudio wrappers in the AUR and see if one of them looks more appropriate, now that I know what I'm doing a little better. I'm surprised Arch's standard archives don't have it available. Thanks, I'll keep you posted.
