Hi All: Over the last 2days I am receiving Debian bug-tracking items about
Speakup-and-YASR, mostly related to a retirement of Mario Lang. Since Speakup
doesn't seem to be a regular package, where I can run an "apt-get install" can
some1 please inform how can I easily grab the latest version, especially where
any changes in DecTalk drivers?
And speaking of DecTalk, I am intouch with some1 trying to write a U S B driver,
but he had never heard of Speakup, so he will be exploring.
Anyway, if any1 has any suggestions what to add to this sources list of Debian
9.4.0
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ buster main
deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ buster main
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security buster/updates main
deb-src http://security.debian.org/debian-security buster/updates main
# stretch-updates, previously known as 'volatile'
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ buster-updates main
deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ buster-updates main
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main
Back again live, an only package I was able to grab in an ap-tget was
speakup-tools or speakup-doc
Thanks so much in advance for suggestions
Chime
