Janina, name.com does indeed support IPv6 glue records.
They also support AAAA records in there dns.
Specifically I am speaking of there "ns registration records".
I run 2 nameservers, and they have IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
So, in my case, I use them for registration and run my own servers.
I did check just now, and they support AAAA records in the online dns they have for customers.

I do agree, however, IPv6 is certainly not being supported in the way it should. I think the large ISP(s) do not see any money in it, so they are not trying that hard.

awfully late in the IPv4 game to ignore 6, especially as IPv4 address
space in North America have been exhausted for over two years now.
