Hi, i recently installed Kali onto an old laptop. I would really like to just run Kali in console mode and completely ignore the GUI .To do this, I know I need speakup. I found a couple refferences in the archives for this mailing list, but I couldn't get it to work with the instructions given. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get speakup running on Kali, as well as how to switch from Gnome desktop to just a console?
