speakup crashes with kernel 4.10.12

I was using speakup to try and debug something earlier and was scrolling 
back and forth in a config file line by line and reading line.


it seems like this makes speakup kernel panick and crash.


i can not reproduce this reliabley however


running this on voidlinux with kernel version 4.10.12 .
