Debian Rescue CD

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

That is exactly what I am trying to do.
My goal is to build my own CD like GRML that automatically boot with speech using speakup and espeak/espeakup.

I am trying to figure out which tools to use to build this CD and how to get it to talk automatically.

I will have a look at the debian live build packages and read some documentation.

Why can't you build your own CD? Just install the live-build packages and
read the documentation. It built fine for me, but I just used the
defaults. That's why I said it would be simple to add speech. Just have
it build the rescue CD with the espeak and espeakup packages. There is a
package to convert an existing system to a live CD as well.
