Buggy speakup on Ubuntu 12.04?

 Hi all

I try to configure speakup for Polish users on Ubuntu 12.04. Almost all
works properly, but I found two bugs:

 1) if I press "go to" key, any next key causes immediately kernel panic
 2) I have console configured for ISO-8859-2 and proper values in
i18n/chartab. I can navigate by words - but if the word starts with
accented letter, speakup says nearest previous word which does not start
with accented letter, or (if there is no such word) first word in line.
In effect, in sentence on screen:

 na ??ce ?licznie ro?nie trawa

navigating by words I hear 'na na na ro?nie trawa'.

Cursor is positioned properly, because I can navigate by characters
 without any problems.

Are there known bugs or Ubuntu related?

I probably could correct second bug if it's ISO-2 related (I'm rather
familiar with program codes like this) - but I can't compile speakup on
my Ubuntu, I can only use modules shipped with system...

 Any idea?

Also - there was "genmap' program... where is it? I'd like to slightly
modify speakup keymap, adding voice change keys (probably usable for
Polish user for switching between good quality but slow Ivona and
espeak) - is it possible without this program?
