Vinux burning problems

The odd thing is though, I downloaded it twice, and it's the same size, 
which should also indicate that the file is okay.
Besides, I burned it to a USB drive, and it ran okay.
It's just when I try to burn it to CD.
Oh yeh, I also burned it to a DVD and it works.
But it is made for a CD.

What kind? md5 is common:

md5sum file.iso

That will give you the hash of the contents of the file.
