Hi, Willem: I have a C-Media device that I purchased from Newegg for about $9.95 that I am very satisfied with, especially at the price. It's a tad too fat to plug two such devices side by side in most USB socket configurations, but aside from that, I have no complaints. I have line/mic in, and line/headphone out, and that's it. Very simple, very cheap. In fact, it's so cheap, I picked up a handful of these, and will do so again should I need more.
