Pulseaudio Update and Arch Linux

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello all,

Just wanted to mention an experience I had. I did a full system update
with Pacman and Pulseaudio was one of the packages updated. I rebooted
my system and there was no sound; although, it was working because I was
able to log in and do systemctl poweroff. So, I had a theory it was
Pulseaudio--I booted my system with a CD, mounted and chrooted into my
system and just updated it again and messed around with alsamixer a bit.
(I got speech in the CD environment of course). I rebooted and all
was fine.

Has anyone else had this issue after updating Pulseaudio? Just thought
I'dgive you all a heads up.
