Have you filed a bug report against the Arch package? It sounds like your problem is related to the upstream change to glibc that deprecates /lib. If you have gotten over this hump with the rest of your packages, then this is a bug in the Arch Brltty package itself and should be filed in the Arch bug tracker, although it seems to work correctly on the install media, so further action may need to be taken for Brltty and other packages on your system as well if you are trying to run an upgrade.
