While I of course can't speak for others, I will tell you that if I think someone is asking a question where they have tried to do their homework, but simply still don't get something, I'll answer if I can. On the other hand, if someone asks how do I do this or that, and a simple google search wold suffice to answer that question, I simply don't bother. I also said earlier that I'll answer a question if I can. If I can't, or don't know enough to be able to with confidence, I choose to keep my keyboard mouth shut, rather then give out misinformation, or clutter the list with I don't know.
