That change with Speakupconf sounds like a good one.

Hi, that change sounds fine steve.
I figured I'd post again, haven't done that for some time now.
I'm curious if Speakup with software speech would ever be possible on an
existing Ubuntu Server installation CD?
Much like Chris has done for Arch, is what I'm getting at.
With his modified TalkingArch CD, wich I helped out with a bit, it's a
no-brainer mostly to install Arch Linux.
And you can use Arch in many different ways with Speakup.
But there are times, where all that manual configuration gets annoying, and
I'd just rather use something like Debian or Ubuntu, wich I prefer over
Debian itself.
So I'm curious if anyone on this list would have ideas how to put SPeakup
into Ubuntu Server with ESpeak?
It might be nice if Ubuntu won't officially do it, to do what Chris did, and
modify the Ubuntu server CD itself, to include Speakup and ESpeak and have
it automatically be speaking at boot.
Although how this would happen, I don't know. Any suggestions are welcome.
