Hi, I use emacspeak and need a way of killing speech. With the latest speakup echoing none and soft doesn't work. I can kill speech by echoing none, but can't get it back. So from a shell script what is the best way of stopping speech and restarting it? I'm using speechd-up and speech-dispatcher with speakup 3.0.3 (the latest from git I believe), on linux-image-2.6.26_i386... Thanks, Danny
