Hello Tony: We uncovered a couple of source code and patching bugs yesterday which should be fixed now. However, I believe the debian kernel sources have already been patched with the speakup hooks. On the other hand, we don't support patching against anything except the vanilla kernel tree so if patching breaks on any other source tree you get to keep all the pieces.
