I don't recall the earliest kernel the cvs version supported, but I think it was 2.6.20, maybe even earlier, like 2.6.19, or 2.6.18. As far as I know, the 3.0.2 version of speakup supports 2.6.24-2.6.25, and higher as of now at least. If someone has more accurate info, please chime in.
