Can anyone help me out? I need to use Ubuntu or GRML live cd as a method for recovering data on my desktop, however neither one of them seem to detect my on board sound cards by default. Is there a way I can have it work with my Plantronics DSP 500 USB headset instead then so I can get speech? I don't have a hardware synthesizer otherwise I'd use GRML with that. Any help or suggestions would be appreciatd. Thanks in advance, jerry
