The install does not leave this system talking on the first boot up. I'm about to edit lilo.conf and add a serial statement and do some things inside that /boot directory. I know in the earlier versions of slackware cp /mnt/kernels/speakup.s/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz was needed. I already did that much and can't even tell what happens to the system once it's started so am wondering if any additional things need doing to make this version of slackware accessible.
