I just installed the Debian package for kernel 2.6.26 for my architecture, and the matching set of speakup modules. I added the names speakup_soft and speakup_ltlk to /etc/modules, rebooted, and up it came, talking a blue streak. Nice job, folks. This looks like a real break-through.
