a concession to two dimensions

I am hooked on the one dimensional approach I described earlier. Except
there is one area where two dimensional thinking seems to me to be
fundamental. That is, in the placement of words on a "page" of text. I
do use, and will continue to use, a conventional 2-D text editor for
writing documents and composing email, but not for creating or
modifying program code.

And speaking of text editors, I would like to thank whoever mentioned
"nice editor" recently. I grabbed it, played it, and have now used it
to replace nano. Really really nice. Sorry I forgot who mentioned it,
but thanks anyway.
