Hi Zack, In fact, I don't know if the term "desktop" aplies to people who prefer command line programs rather than graphical ones, but I really think there is no reason to use a graphical environment, since text mode is faster and I think there are console programs for any task. For blind users, perhaps the only difference is that in text mode you should memorize some command strings instead of key strokes. Nothing's hard, to me at least...
