Hi what I want to know is how come speakup is not part of the base line kernel? It seems to be a problem every time a new kernel comes out. If speakup was infact included in the base line kernel it seems to me every distro would pick it up. -----Original Message----- From: speakup-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-bounces at braille.uwo.ca] On Behalf Of Luke Yelavich Sent: Sunday, June 17, 2007 9:28 PM To: speakup at braille.uwo.ca Subject: Re: gentoo dropping speakup support On Mon, Jun 18, 2007 at 03:06:35PM EST, Doug Sutherland wrote: > One more suggestion. That would be useful, however speakup as it currently stands, will not work with 2.6.22, period, no matter what distro does or does not ship it, or no matter what script is set up to grab it all and glue it together. -- Luke Yelavich GPG key: 0xD06320CE (http://www.themuso.com/themuso-gpg-key.txt) Email & MSN: themuso at themuso.com Jabber: themuso at jabber.org.au _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup at braille.uwo.ca http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup -- No virus found in this incoming message.
