need help getting fedora 6 to boot with speech

Don't bother. They're all the same file as far as boot is concerned.

Let's confirm that you downloaded your iso images from
SpeakupModified.Org? Is that correct?

Sometimes, it's also necessary to specify the serial port. It isn't
usually necessary, but sometimes it is. There are examples in the
Installation HOWTO.
