Your error summary doesn't go back far enough. I had the same output but when I go further back on mine, I see that load_help and ld_help are missmatched. What I did was to change the invokation of ld_help to load_help and got rid of the unused definition of declare_work. Kernel boots and shuts down just fine but I now see that speakup-F1 doesn't bring up my keyboard help so I may have broken something. But at least I have a stable system at the moment. I really wish these mirrors would be kept up to date. I gave up on CVS from linux.speakup.org because the connection would always hang or time out. FL responds better for me.
