I don't know how fedora names its log files, but /var/log/kernel.log, /var/log/messages.log, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/dmesg.log (if you have that), should help in figuring out what's happening. You should also be prepared for the fact that the indicator of a crash might not be found in log files. My former server for example had a motherboard which progressively got worse and worse, and there was never any evidence in the logs that a lock-up/crash had ever happened. Again, just looking around in /var/log is your best bet. Good luck.
