The Case of the Unknown Host

Greetings!

In the hope of downloading the Speakup-modified FC5 images, I've just tried several times to ftp to

ftp://ftp.SpeakupModified.Org/fedora/speakupmodified/current/RPMS/

I just got this link via a Google search. When I followed it as a link from the message my search had landed on, I saw a user name of anonymous, but I found no place to put a password and seemed unable to do anything but click on Internet Explorer's most unhelpful help.

When I try using ftp from the command prompt, I get "unknown host." I typed using all lowercase, and again with exactly the capitalization as above. I even tried eliminating everything after the .Org. I think I tried both with and without the slash at the end.

I did that Google search a few minutes ago because I had the same problem with

ftp://SpeakupModified.org/fedora/speakupmodified/current/RPMS/

even using the Linux machine I had in my classroom this morning. I drew hope from the small difference in the link I got this afternoon, but it seems there's something wrong other than the ftp address.

I looked at a chapter on ftp in an old Harley Hahn book on using the Internet, and it seems to me that I have the syntax right. I know I must be missing something, though. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Propaine
