-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Well, I wasn't really planning to respond to this, since I did write one of the apps in question, but I think I can give an unbiased opinion in this situation. The main difference between hpodder and podracer as far as I am aware is that podracer supports downloading podcasts distributed via bittorrent. I had the opportunity to use hpodder some time back and found it quite easy to use and manage at the time, and that was earlier this year, so it has most likely improved since then. There are also, as I recall, some more advanced features available in hpodder that are still lacking in podracer. So my unbiased opinion is that if you need podcasts that are distributed via bittorrent then podracer is about the only app that will catch them, although bittorrent support has been known to be unreliable at times during some python release cycles. If you don't need bittorrent support, then hpodder may be more to your liking, especially if you need some of its more advanced features such as conversion of subscription formats from other apps, automatic tagging or file name customization and collision detection. Wow! Taking a look at the hpodder site, it looks like it rocks! Seems that if it wasn't for bittorrent support, podracer would be deprecated. Sorry about that. There's only so much that can be done with bash. <smile> HTH a little, Lorenzo - -- I've always found anomalies to be very relaxing.
