bookshare.org unpack question

Paul,

There are two versions at least of the unpack utility for linux on that
site. A version that is supposed to be able to run on more than just
RedHat systems can be downloaded from a different link you need to write
support at bookshare.org and ask them to send you. The normal unpack utility
worked on FC2. I never did try it on FC3 or FC4 since haven't installed
FC4 yet and won't have a fast connection for awhile. The second beta
version worked on FC2 slackware, and debian when I tested it. I hope at
least one of those versions can work on FC4 but I'd cross my fingers at
this time. Since you got a coredump, see if you can get the unpack.core
file and send it to support at bookshare.org compressed in a zip file. If
neither version of the unpack utility will work for FC4, you'll be on your
way to making a valueable contribution to their engineers helping them do
the necessary debug work.
