Hi, Luke: I've tried both flite and DEC Talk 4. I haven't bought 5 and don't plan to. Response is the same. The speech is extremely choppy so that I'm only comfortable hearing it while reviewing the screen. Last year I had a Thinkpad T30 which was much better. So, I don't understand where the breakdown is.
