Hi, I have asked this before I still do not understand why I have been told it no longer should be used. I have a copy of IBM via voice out loud five why can't I use it as a software synthesizer. It sounds better then the other two I have tried. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: speakup-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-bounces at braille.uwo.ca] On Behalf Of Scott D. Subject: Re: windows versus lynix Hi, Oralux does work..it worked on two of my thre "daily drivers" It may be great to get started with Linux, then graduate to FC3 with speakup. Booting from a CD is really cool, but the distro is more limited. I am using both a Red Hat 9 and Oralux, till I get some comfort using Linux. Scott D.
