Rejean, Debian doesn't remove configuration files by default since they might be needed if you reinstall a package. Either try this, which may be unsuccessful until you try it on all the phpgroupware packages: dpkg --purge phpgroupware or look in /etc/cron.d and remove files which look like they belong to the phpgroupware set of packages; they probably have names starting with phpgroupware.
