I use a program called winscp which is a very nice program. Lets you look at the linux box from another computer. You can move files back and forth, highlight a file on the linux box and open it up with your preferred windows editor. Works reasonably well with speech if you set it up as norton commander interface. Not sure if this is what you were wanting to do. 73s Butch Bussen wa0vjr
