-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I thought I'd mess around with connecting my laptop up to a cell phone to enable it onto the internet from time to time. I know, the connections are slow and all that but thought it a neet way to drag the internet on the road with me. The question here is, How do I go about making Linux recognize my phone? I have an LG VX4500 model with a USB cable with their mobile office kit; now that kit is obviously rigged for windows but understand connectivity to linux is quite possible and I recall Gene Collins doing this with his phone. So I'm wondering if and what modules I might need tohook up the phone probably to a USB connection. Also, my machine doesn't have USB ports but I am looking for a PCMCIA USB adaptor I could hopefully use. - -- HolmesGrown Solutions The best solutions for the best price! http://ld.net/?holmesgrown -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFB/qo0WSjv55S0LfERAossAKDVAV0bzRxq8lyqkPzR+FqHAST5hgCbB+XQ HJrjDVRKo3XpYqNB9M9umiI= =aJyp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
