Hello, I have a 3C505 Ethernet card (according to my friend who sent it to me). I installed the card myself and tried ifconfig and ifconfig eth0 and it said device not found. So, I went to load the module: 3c59x which is a series module for a few more cards. After doing a modprobe on this, I still get the same results--cannot find the device.
