When I try to start it, I get the error Well, there are reasons why the "Everything" install is recommended, and you have possibly run smack into one of them. When you say you installed "Minimal" it doesn't quite advise as to what got installed, and what didn't get installed. What was the reason that "Everything" didn't work? Are you short of disk space? Do you have test-speech and can you run it? You would do that from a console login, so gnome doesn't need to be in the mix at that point. If not, you probably didn't get gnome-speech installed, so try: yum install gnome-speech > > (srcore:8098): gnopernicus-WARNING **: Exception > Unknown CORBA exception id: > 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/OBJECT_NOT_EXIST:1.0' occured. > > > (srcore:8098): gnopernicus-WARNING **: Message : > Server activation failed. > > (srcore:8098): gnopernicus-WARNING **: Exception > Unknown CORBA exception id: > 'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/OBJECT_NOT_EXIST:1.0' occured. > > > (srcore:8098): gnopernicus-WARNING **: Message : > Unable to unref the driver > gnopernicus-Message: speech initialization failed > > Does anyone know how to get this to work.
