an elinks question

Sorry, I don't have answers to your questions but I would like to add
yet another question to the mud.

Elinks has a tab feature like what Firefox uses; I tried it but it pops
up a smaller region inside the rest of the screen so Speakup has an
awful time with it since we can't pare down the screen to just this tab
area.  I'm wondering if there is any way one could expand the region of
this tab area to full screen and just switch from tab to tab with the
appropriate navigation keys in elinks?
