smart boot manager and accessibility

Hi all.

As the subject suggests, I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten sbm
working with speech somehow, or made it otherwise accessibile? When I
say otherwise accessible, I mean that for example after the system
accesses the floppy drive, and the floppy stops spinning, up/down
arrow this many times to boot from cd, and have that number of arrow
key presses be consistent from machine to machine, irrespective of if
the cd-rom drive is a master or slave on the primary or secondary ide
port.
