-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I have a little situation. When ever I plug in my flash drive, it is assigned a device like /dev/sde /dev/sdf or what ever. The same happens for my external USB hard drive. Now for the problem. Is there some way I can pin this down? I want to add this to /etc/fstab so that I can mount it without needing root, but I can't do that if the device name is different between sessions. Any thoughts? Equal causes can produce very unequal effects. Joseph C.
