When I put that URL into Trplayer, I get audio, but it's unintelligible.
It sounds like some sort of voice scrambling. Among the various messages
from Mplayer, are two lines that look intriguing.

Unknown extra header dump: [14] [0] [6] [0] [3] [0] [40] [1] [0] [0]
demux_real: invalid chunksize! (0)

With the second clip, I got the following, after using the "-playlist"
option.

Connect error : Connection refused
Not a Realmedia rtsp url. Trying standard rtsp protocol.
RTSP support requires the "LIVE.COM Streaming Media" libraries!
Unable to open URL:
rtsp://stream2.cbc.ca:7085/live/CBC-RadioOne.rm?end="00:30:00"

I wonder if the site is down, or it really isn't a Real Media stream.
Maybe, I'll try rebuilding Mplayer with the live.com streaming support and
see if it makes a difference.
