Kernel 2.6 uses alsa drivers by default, and that is great, but the alsa utilities are not available and need to be installed separately. The problem with that is that the util package matching the kernel alsa version will not compile. It dies with this error: mv: cannot stat `t-ja.gmo': No such file or directory Anybody have a similar problem? or is there another way to get the utilities?
