You have a number of different choices: 1. use ftp between the two boxes. 2. scp the desired file from the linux box to the windows box. (requires a ssh client on the windows box) 3. samba (see all files in the configured samba partion just as you do on any networked drive.) Any of these are able to handle cross platform access of files.
