Ouch on the lock-up on mark/cut/paste. Has anybody else patched 2.4.29 and found the same results or better yet that it actually works? I have to say that the 2.4.x support days are very limited because 2.6.x has made a significant divergence and so maintaining both 2.4 and 2.6 would be a lot more overhead.
